Let’s Put All Our Trust In God Through Christ Jesus

Trusting God /

As humans, we’re made to rely on our Maker who is the source of our existence through an intimate relationship guided by what He has revealed to us into His Word.

However, Satan through the sin of pride will try to imprint all types of erroneous belief into our mind that may persuade us to believe that we can live without God, but it’s just a complete lie from the pit of hell.

The truth is that people may allow themselves to be deceived to the degree that they don’t really feel the need of having Christ in their lives; nevertheless, they’ll certainly get into a point where they’ll come to the realization that His absence in their life is the greatest and worst mistake that they could have ever made.

Just as an electrical component needs to be connected to a power supply in order for it to be able to achieve its initial purpose, so are we.

We’re made in a very unique fashion that grants us the privilege to relate to our Maker in an intimate level, unlike the other creations.

God Is The Source Of Our Lives

People’s conception of life from a humanistic perspective is very superficial.

However, from a purely biblical perspective, life means more than what we perceive it to be.

As humans, there are two dimensions that define our existence: a physical dimension, and a spiritual dimension.

Just as the physical aspect of us needs to be taken care of continually, so is the spiritual aspect.

Our physical body needs a constant dependence on food, water, and air.

The same also holds true for our soul, which needs a constant dependence on God.

In order for the power of God to sustain us spiritually, a genuine relationship with Him is required.

When we’re sick, or it could be just anything that prevents us from operating properly, our natural tendency is to do something as soon as possible to deal with that problem before it worsens.

But the spiritual aspect is something that most people have chosen to ignore completely because of being deceived by the enemy or too preoccupied by the needs of the physical aspect of their being, such as the issues of life.

As important the physical aspect is, the spiritual one is infinitely more important.

The foremost reason is that the physical aspect is only temporary, whereas the spiritual one is eternal.

That’s why it would be foolish to ignore it by allowing temporal things to cause us to lose our sense of priority.

Christ has presented Himself as life as well as the One who can grant us access to the spring of living water (John 14:6, John 4:13-14).

Therefore, let’s us come and connect ourselves to God through Christ.

We can establish that life-changing dependence through the means of having faith in God on the ground of the finished work of His son Jesus Christ.
